Senor Chron, Laden Parts, Last Year

Have you noticed that the Chron doesn't have Latinos helping make major Chron decisions? We are a city with over 40% Latinos and I don't think anyone can tell me of a Latino/a in a major position at the Chron.

Sure they have LoRod who knows more about Latinos than the rest of the Chron all put together but she's a reporter. You know, I kind of feel dissed that H-Town's daily rag doesn't have a Latino helping call the shots. It makes me think that the folks that are deciding stuff over at the Chron don't think much of the largest population group in the city. This stuff can get contagious if we don't fix it, if you know what I mean. The Chron can't preach diversity if they don't practice diversity - hey, maybe I ought to come up with a slogan for the Chron.

Thirteen days before the results are announced and they still have Bin Laden on ice. I got my TV set to CNN waiting for the mother of all press conferences. They better hurry up - early voting is happening.

Speaking of Bin Laden, when Rudy Gee runs for President, how do you think voters are going to react to the fact that body parts are still being found seven years after 9/11? Sorry, Rudy Gee, being in a hurry ain't a good excuse - in a hurry for what?

One year ago tonight H-Town experienced its first ever World Series game - we lost in extra extra extra innings and were down zero games to three. You know the rest of the story.
