I Said That!

No cell phone use while driving says today’s Chron editorial. Commentary’s been saying that for a couple of years now. When the Chron’s E-Board starts interviewing wannabee legislators next year, maybe they ought to ask a question on cell phone use while driving.

Yesterday, the Chron’s editorial cartoon was about Gore’s Nobel Peace Prize being snatched up by W. Commentary said that Friday – oh, well!

Every time James Rodriguez, candidate for Houston City Council, District I gets some run in the Chron there are always folks that submit comments. Comments are the norm these days. I wonder how many of the submitters are District I voters?

The State of Idaho has a Hall of Fame, errr Shame – huh! They just inducted the GOP U.S. Senator that’s in trouble. You got it – they’re gonna hang his picture in the men’s bathroom – awwww!

Tie goes to the runner, doesn’t it? Do we really need another TSU trial? Everybody made their point so let’s move on.

I don’t think we’re talking about Super Bowl around these parts nowadays. I don’t even think we’re talking about playoffs. Vince is coming to H-Town this Sunday – uh, oh!

Commentary stayed up until 12:30 am Saturday night, errr Sunday morning to watch Cleveland put it on the Red Sox in 11 innings. If I want to watch the Denver Rockies try to go to the World Serious tonight, I’m going to have to stay up past midnight. Thanks to the MLB/TV Gods.

Commentary and My Brown Eyed Girl checked out the world’s coolest dude this past weekend in “Michael Clayton.” It is probably a Best Pic nominee. Nominations are also probably in order for George Clooney, Tom Wilkinson and Tilda Swinton. Check it out.
