On election night the spinning will cease. One guy will win and another will lose. The spinners will be reduced to saying "we look forward to governing for the next four years" or "we want to congratulate..."
The millions of cable news addicts will no longer have to listen to the mind numbing, talking point fed campaign representatives.
In the future, maybe the cable news honchos ought to limit their appearances to maybe twice a day. They all sound the same. They all say the same thing. We never learn anything from them.
Maybe the cable news organizations ought to post the daily campaign talking points and when a campaign rep repeats them on the air a buzzer goes off, and the rep is asked to leave. It would probably make campaign coverage more interesting.
