His Love, W, Rivalry Not

"Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm sixty-four." Apparently not says My Buddy. Sir Paul and his Lovely Heather are splitting up. Paul turns 64 next month. "She's leaving home, bye, bye." Guess he'll be joining the Lonely Hearts Club Band ... awwwww!

I have to admit that I have to give props to W. He gave one on one press interviews yesterday to a number of network reporters outside in the near 100 degree heat in Yuma, Arizona. Guess that's what you have to do when your poll numbers are miserable.

The Lone Star Series resumes tonight at the yard. Lone Star Series? That Astros versus the Rangers. The winner takes the boot. No kidding, the series winner - six games, three here and three in Arlington - takes possession of the Silver Boot. Major League Baseball (MLB) wants to create interleague rivalries. There are great ones like the Mets-Yankees and White Sox-Cubs. Astros-Rangers just doesn't rise to that level. Still, I'll be at the yard this weekend.
