Five More Years?

From Big Dick Cheney’s piehole yesterday - "I think you cannot be blown off course by the fluctuations in the public opinion polls. Think about what would have happened if Abraham Lincoln had paid attention to polls, if they had had polls during the Civil War. He never would have succeeded if he hadn't had a clear objective, a vision for where he wanted to go, and he was willing to withstand the slings and arrows of the political wars in order to get there."

Sorry Big Dick, but you are about 42 presidential administrations away from being compared to Honest Abe’s! Let’s just call it another sad case of brainal fissure.

Five years ago today, Lee Brown was still H-Town’s Mayor, Sir Paul was $50 mil richer, B-G-O and Baggy were getting ready for Opening Day against the Rockies, and most of America had never heard of Obama.

I wonder if Vegas has an over/under for when the Dem Prez sweepstakes will end.

Commentary thinks that Eliot Spitzer lowered the bar for electeds – you can play if you don’t pay.

I guess Commentary jinxed the Rockets for rooting for them.

I guess I ought to stick to stuff I know something about – like the ‘Stros. Like ticket prices went up this year, don’t know about the St. Arnold’s though.
