10, 2 and 4 and Yao’s Wow

You know we’re hurting for news when the front page of today’s Chron has a story about Dr. Pepper having the exclusive vending machine rights at H-Town’s City Hall. Hey, it’s the friendly pepper upper.

Speaking of the front page, the word is there will be some major campaign announcements coming regarding the local political scenery in next year’s elections. Hey, change is always good and it will probably increase voter interest and turnout. Stay tuned.

Also in today’s Chron, Yao Ming is getting married. His soon to be wife’s pic is in the paper. Check it, errr, her out.

Speaking of weddings, Commentary won’t be the only attendee at James Rodriguez’ and The Lovely Wendy’s ceremony this Saturday wearing a tux – out side of the wedding party. Some of James’ buddies and kinfolk and campaign folks will also be in black tie gear. It looks like a lot of folks from District I will be there to cast early votes for James – that’s a real good thing.

6 to 1, 12 games behind, and 12 games under .500 – that’s all I’m going to say about that.
