According to the Urban Dictionary, a "drugstore cowboy" is 1) a gigolo, 2) a man who hangs around drugstores, mainly to impress a woman, or 3) a guy that constantly tries to pick up on girls ... not necessarily successfully. According to yourdictionary.com: 1) a loafer who passes time on sidewalks or at drugstores, or 2) one who dresses or acts like a cowboy but has never been one.
