Moving On

It would probably be a good idea for the Lone Star State Dem Party to set up a real big room with a real big TV at the State Convention this Saturday up in Austin so delegates can finally see Hillary concede and endorse.

Thanks to CEWDEM, a lot of us are getting informed on who is running for what at the State Convention. Good luck to former Cameron County Judge Gilberto Hinojosa in his bid for DNC.

I have to talk to my old friend Kathryn to see who made her cry. There is a piece in today’s Chron (check it out) about how Dem friends/families got along during the Dem Prez sweepstakes. Apparently Kathryn, an Obama girl, got into an argument with buddies that were supporting Hillary.

Yesterday, Caroline Kennedy was named to Obama’s VP Pick’em Team. Maybe she will recommend her father's plan of action 48 years ago when he had to pick a running mate – interesting.

Not even the energy capitol of the galaxy is immune to skyrocketing fuel prices as our own Continental Airlines announced major layoffs this morning – yikes!

The Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball have a few problems. They have one of the highest payrolls ($117 mil) and the worst record in baseball. They are also in a bit of trouble for recently asking two fans of the female persuasion to cut back on their public display of affection, errr making out at a recent ballgame at Safeco Field. The fans said they weren’t, well, maybe just a little light pecking. I wonder if Safeco has the Kiss Kam.

Meanwhile, we’re still seven out.
