County Judge, G’town Idiot, More Pesos, Wow!
It looks like we might have us a County Judge vacancy here in Harris County. Judge Eckels, a GOPer, is looking at taking a job in the private sector. Judge Eckels is a nice fella. He’s always treated Commentary with respect. It’s going to be interesting to see which local Rs try to replace the Judge on Commissioners’ Court. It’s also going to be interesting to see which Dems want the gig. Stay tuned.
About a week ago some idiot and might I say racist council member from Georgetown (as in that pitiful burg in Central Texas) dropped the wet-word as in “back.” He was referring to tree trimmers. He apologized yesterday – he didn’t check himself into rehab though. A colleague of his said something about learning to say the political correct thing – huh? Sorry idiot colleague – not saying the wet-word doesn’t make it politically correct. Because Commentary never uses the “N” word does not mean I am politically correct.
Hey Joe, where you going with that gun in your hand – to blow off another foot of yours. Leave it to U.S. Senator Joe Biden to crash and burn the same day he launched his campaign for the Dem Prez nomination. Heck, he never had a chance anyway. He may stay in the race for awhile, but who in the heck would sign up to help him out this point?
“It's hypocritical for this administration to publicly state that they want to create a fair process for citizenship while at the same time pricing out most of the people this process is supposed to assist," said Houston City Council Member Carol Alvarado about the rising cost of the price of U S of A citizenship. I guess W is letting the far right wing set the cost of filling out a citizenship application.
night Commentary checked out the work of Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Renoir,
Degas, Cezanne, Manet, and Monet and other mega-heavy weight artists.
My Brown Eyed Friend and I went over to the fancy dancy Museum of Fine
Arts of Houston and checked out the latest exhibit. Wow! Some of the stuff
they had hanging on the wall was about 500 years old. Some of the pieces
were works that you see in coffee table books. This one piece called “Elder
Sister” was one cool treasure. Go by MFAH and check it out –
