Friction, Crybaby

Interesting storyline in last night's "The West Wing" - a Latino candidate and African American voters. One of the characters had a good line about some African American folks wanting to see an African American presidential candidate before a Latino presidential candidate. Is there friction between the two communities - sure. Here in Houston we've done a pretty good job of avoiding African American - Latino problems that have come up in other cities. Props to us.

Commentary didn't order the hit. In Houston political campaignspeak - "cleaning up" means you go out late at night and take down the other sides' signs. Laura has been a "cleaning up" victim since Day One. Apparently, somebody(s) got fed up and did some "cleaning up" of their own. One of the other sides' supporters took photos of the aftermath and is crying foul. Awwwwww!!
