Labor Day March, Tiger's 12th, Birthday Dad

Mark your calendar for 10 a.m., Monday, September 4, 2006, for the Labor Day Immigrant's Rights March in Houston. The march begins at Market Square in Downtown Houston and ends in front of City Hall. Similar marches will be held throughout the country that day. Be there!

Tiger just intimidates the rest of the field period! I was working yesterday and had the tube tuned into the PGA Championship and I was so captivated by his performance that I completely forgot that the 'Stros were also playing. Remember when Duval was considered his nemesis, then Ernie, then Vijay, then Lefty, now according to today's Chron, it could be boredom. I don't think so. He's won 12 major by a combined total of 58 strokes or nearly 5 strokes per championship. I think he loves to crush the rest of the field and there is nothing boring about that.

Done? I admit, they should have done better in Milwaukee, but it is still a split on the road. A key three game series begins this evening in Cincy. No, we're not done.

Commentary's Dad turns 83 today - yikes! I'm sure he'll drop by the office today. Happy Birthday Dad! His great grandson Dante turned 7 yesterday. Happy Birthday Dante!
