H2Oless, Next Come The Tomatoes, Barrage, Odd

Great, now we can't take bottle water on a flight. They better have it on board and not make you drink that nasty stuff they serve. They now want us at the airport two hours before our scheduled departure. Why would anyone from the Houston area bother to take a flight to Austin or vice versa? Driving would be a whole lot more convenient.

Joe needs to get off of the stage. His cred is just about all used up. He should have taken a final bow a couple of nights ago, take the next two years off, make some money, campaign for the '08 ticket, and when we win, he probably gets a cabinet spot. Joe if you don't exit now, you may get the rotten tomato treatment.

From the I'm Gagging Department: "Joe Lieberman believed in a strong national defense, and for that, he was purged from his party. It is a sobering moment," said Republican National Chairman Ken Mehlman. Shuuuuuuuuuuut up! Who gives a rat's a__ what you think about what happens in a Connecticut Democratic Party Primary.

My Nephew came by yesterday and pointed out that this is the first time in history that a sitting VP ran for the U.S. Senate as an incumbent and lost, well, sorta. All of his Senate buddies that were with him the day before yesterday are now with the nominee. That's politics!

My Best Friend and I need to go to the yard more often together. We went last night and got to see Roy O.'s first career dinger. We also were witness to a 14 run, 15 hit, 6 dinger Astro barrage. Commentary muffed a foul ball attempt last night. It was a lazy blooper that landed right in front of me and bounced off my chest. I'm gonna blame it on the two St. Arnold's I had consumed.

When I went out to fetch my newspaper this morning, there were two of them in the yard. I brought them in and took off the plastic wrapping. One was today's, the other was from June 14 - huh? I went through every page, looking for a hidden message, a la "All The President's Men." Nada!
