Hillary won by 10 points last night. Obama had six weeks to put her away and he couldn’t. Obama outspent her by about 3 to 1. Penn Dem voters told the talking heads, political punditry, and columnist community to shut up and let the remaining Dem voters and Super Duper Dem Delegates decide. That sounds OK to me.

There is a front page story in today’s Chron about an increase in negative feelings toward paperless folks here locally according to the 2008 Houston Area Survey. This doesn’t surprise Commentary. Paperless folks have been taking a bashing the last couple of years while most of our business and political leaders have stayed silent. Way to go H-Town! Pretty soon you’ll have to mow your own lawn and eat on paper plates at local restaurants!

One of today’s Chron editorials is about the H-Town soccer stadium deal and how to pay for it. Commentary thinks it would be wise for the City of H-Town to stop talking about not wanting to divert funds from public safety. The more you talk about this, the more you make it difficult to get a deal done. The City is going to have to put in some public funds so just say the taxpayer will get it back in the long run – you know through more Downtown development and stuff like that. Commentary is not into soccer, but apparently a whole lot of local Latinos are in love with the sport.

The ‘Stros celebrated Earth Day yesterday by wearing green lids and winning 11 to 7. We finally won a series!
